One of our favorite grandmothers came to visit Ms Streets classroom today! Ms Mindy read a story about a square pumpkin! It was lots of fun! Thank you, Ms Mindy!



Mrs. Brakebill brought Mrs. Gollihare’s 3rd grade class a fun Halloween STEM escape box from Air & Space STEM Outreach. The kids had to use their problem solving skills and critical thinking skills to break open their box and solve the puzzles. They had a blast!




Caleb Jacobi and Emery Popejoy from Mrs. McKenzie’s PreK class have learned all of their uppercase letters! Roman Duarte and Anthony Teabout have learned all of their letter sounds! Way to go kiddos!!

Our youngest students visited the Book Fair today and created wish lists of books they’re excited about! The lists look like receipts — but don’t worry, no purchases were made today.
Your child’s “receipt” is simply a wish list of books they liked during their preview time. Feel free to look it over together and decide if there are items you’d like to purchase during the Book Fair. ❤️

Students at Rivers Out Shined Drugs by wearing neon colors.




Mrs. Hormann's class used 1 inch tiles to measure things around the classroom. The challenge was, they could not use rulers or get more tiles. Students for creative and combined their tiles to measure longer objects.





Ms. Huckaby’s second grade students tasted black grapes in class today. They learned that there are more than 8,000 different types of grapes. Grapes can come in colors of red, purple, pink, blue, black, white and green.
