Altus Public Schools will send home Federal Forms on Wednesday, November 13. Completed forms are due back on or before Monday, November 18. Federal Forms are required by the Federal Government in order for schools to receive Impact Aide. Impact Aid is a Federal education program that reimburses school districts for the lost revenue and additional costs associated with the presence of nontaxable Federal property. All military members and civilians who have children attending Altus Public Schools should complete the forms and return them to the school. Out of an abundance of caution due to the water boil restrictions and not being able to provide enough water to students, Altus Public Schools will be closed on Friday, August 23. As always, student and staff safety is our priority. All out-of-town athletic events will continue as scheduled.
